Dr. Lauson’s distinguished career as a specialist in orthodontics began over 30 years ago. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a DDS degree. He then completed his orthodontic residency at St. Louis University Medical Center and has been in private practice in the Metro Denver area ever since. During this time, he helped develop the techniques for completing orthodontic treatment resulting in beautiful smiles — without removing permanent teeth, surgery, and other invasive procedures.
Dr. Lauson is also a published author of numerous articles and the book Straight Talk About Crooked Teeth. He has lectured at many national dental and orthodontic meetings and is currently listed in The Guide to America’s Top Dentists. He is well known for achieving exceptional results in complex orthodontic cases. Among his many professional distinctions, he has also been named the “Best Dentist in Aurora” by the city’s residents.
Dr. Lauson is a member of over a dozen professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists and sits on the advisory board of the Journal of Oral Hygiene and Health.
Nichole loves adventuring into culinary creations, collecting stamps, and hot yoga.
Nichole started her career in healthcare over 20 years ago. She practiced neuromuscular massage and cranial sacral therapy, focusing on patients with chronic pain related to head and neck injuries. She began working with Dr. Lauson over 10 years ago at Aurora Orthodontics and TMJ, working with patients suffering from TMD. At that time, Nichole began continuing education in early orthodontic treatment and myofunctional therapy and a few years later assisted in the launch of NEO New Early Orthodontics. Her mission is to create an exceptional patient experience and to support NEO’s powerhouse team of doctors so they can continue to deliver exceptional care. Alongside Dr. Lauson and Dr. Holly, Nichole participates in multiple continuing education classes throughout the year and summits in airway and orthodontics with leading dentists and physicians in the field. She is also a member of Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals, the AAPMD, and the American Orthodontic Association. Nichole is married with two daughters and is the step-mama to two bonus kids. She enjoys spending free time with family and friends, finding fun little restaurants, traveling, and hot yoga.
Dakota is obsessed with shopping and anything with floral prints. She can never have enough Glossier products and brunch dates.
Dakota wants to live in a world where beauty is easily found in all things, kindness isn’t rare, and there’s a beach around every corner. As a front desk ninja, it’s her mission to keep you and your kiddos smiling. She keeps scheduling, billing, rewards program, and social media running like a well-oiled machine. She is a licensed esthetician as well, so naturally a skincare fanatic. In her free time, you can find her in the yoga studio or shopping on the Free People website.

Aislynn enjoys cycling, snowboarding, wakeboarding and spending time with her friends and family. Aislynn is a Colorado native but she loves going on vacation to be by the beach. She was trained as an orthodontic assistant but she’s planning on going to dental hygiene school in the near future. In her free time you can find her shopping, camping and boating. Even though she is little she has a big, bright and loud personality.

Jolee enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding new breweries, and locating the best spots for Colorado’s famous sunsets. She loves going on weekend trips where she can be immersed with new people and places.
Jolee has been a go-getter from a young age. Jolee graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (go Bears!) with a Sport and Exercise Science degree. This experience helped her fall in love with human biology. Following college, her passion for Disney drew her to Florida where she worked as a cast member at Walt Disney World, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
She is excited to be a member of the NEO team where she can learn something new everyday and provide the best experience parents and kids. Jolee coordinates treatments with Drs. Lauson and Holly, helping them come up with the best treatment plans for patients.
Do you like Disney movies? Sindy does. In fact her nickname at NEO is “Disney Princess.” Sindy’s motto is simple: “You can never have enough color in life.” That could explain why she always has a fun shade of lipstick, bright scrubs, and an array of bright pens, markers and highlighters within hands-reach. Married and originally from Los Angeles, Sindy is a mother of three teenagers and a five-year-old, who always keeps her on her toes. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years. Sindy assists in all orthodontic and laser procedures. Sindy is always smiling, a true team player, and easily relates to patients of all ages. And, she is always up for a trip to the Magic Kingdom!
Leona is a Colorado native she is an avid sports lover, her favorites are the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. She loves spending time with her boyfriend and their fur baby, Blu. They spend most of their time outdoors taking hikes and enjoying all the outdoors Colorado has to offer. Her favorite time is spent with friends and family at the lake. Leona has been in the orthodontic field for nearly 20 years. She assists with all orthodontic and Myobrace procedures and loves that she gets to meet so many awesome patients and their families.
